Default Random element in GvG

GvG gets dull after a while as it's so scripted, time and location wise.
As in, VoD allways starts at 20:00, Gl allways starts walking at 25:00, archers allways spawn in the same locations, repair kit is allways on the same hill etc.

I'm suggesting that it may be a bit more exciting if maybe the fixed times were dropped, and VoD could occur anytime between, say 15:00 and 25:00. This would remove the mentality of ''It's VoD in 1 minutes and 38 seconds, so we'll run away from each other and babysit our NPC's''. Also, same with Gl walking after VoD, make it random between say 0 and 5 minutes after VoD starts, to make that last desperate gank attempt that little more desperate.

Also randomising location of archers in and around the guildhall, forcing people to utilise different strategies and change on the spot. Nohting ridiculous like archers spawing half way across the map, or no archers on 1 side or anything, just a little more variety. Maybe a certain number of positions they can appear in, randomly selected pre-game.

I think i random element sounds good, the same thing deos get dull...

Some builds rely on the consistancy between VOD and the Guild Lord walking out. I think it's fine the way it is.

What would be REALLY cool though, is if your guild selected where they appeared, based on a couple of spawn spots (so you couldnt, say, stick all your footsoldiers next to the GL, but you COULD stick all your archers right above 1 of the gates, if you so desired). Would probably give an extra element of stratigy for the NPC gankers/opposing team...im sure it would be harder to gank if "omg! all their footmen are body blocking 1 of the gates shut!"

They could add a factor to make them trigger, instead of time, like deaths in each side.

In side A they die 5 times, they get the NPCs...
Then they have a little advantage and can get another 5 deaths, then the other side gets the NPCs too...

GvG is fine, right now, everyone knows where the NPC's are, everyone knows when to fire the treb after VoD, its a level playing field, it relies down to the builds taken and strageties by the players, not hoping you get the /roll 100 for vod at the right time.

GvG shouldnt be random, it should rely on strageties players, not on "OMG all their npcs spawned in the bodyguard area"

it would defenetly improve the fun factor.

maby to saisfy those who like things as they are, just make 5 (?) versions of each map, so there will be some random spawn factor, but would allow the players to learn each map and do strategy

GvG is about tactics. More than any type of PvP
Adding a random event will mess things up.
Not the brightest ideea in my opinion
